Hudson ROI Ballaster Ballast Car

OVERVIEW

The remote controlled Hudson Ballaster Ballast Car is designed for one man operation from the tow vehicle. The 26T Ballaster has four bottom gates, one on each field side and two gates between the rails. The gates are opened and closed hydraulically and controlled with radio remotes and can be operated simultaneously or individually. Ballast distribution in terms of location and depth is very accurate resulting in reduced double handling and reduced ballast waste.
