John has worked in management positions in both the maintenance of way and operating departments, and he has over 17 years of railroad experience with Class 1 railroads and Amtrak. He taught Train and Locomotive Air Brakes classes at the US Army Transportation School. After that, John spent 10 years leasing and selling remanufactured locomotives and locomotive services.
