Harsco Rail’s Track Stabilizer, Model TS-30, stabilizes the track by inserting controlled and accurate force directly into the track structure. The operator has the ability to set the desired down-feed pressure for each rail and the machine maintains that constant pressure until the operator changes it.

Air operated, tread type brakes featuring Cobraâ, high friction, composition shoes acting on each wheel. Spring applied, air released secondary brake operation provides automatic brake actuation in case of air pressure loss.


Electrical System: 24 VDC with a 175 amp alternator

Hydraulic System: Variable displacement piston pumps fixed displacement gear pumps, 24 VDC solenoid operated valves

Air System: The engine mounted air compressor can produce up to 28 SCFM depending on speed and turbo boost pressure. The nominal operating pressure is 100 psi
